CLEVELAND, Ohio — Major League Baseball released the latest All-Star fan vote totals Monday, and Guardians players are practically absent among American League leaders at their positions.

José Ramírez, Andrés Giménez and Josh Naylor are the only Cleveland players who currently rank among the top 10 vote-getters in Phase 1 of balloting for the July 11 Midsummer Classic in Seattle.

Ramírez ranks ninth among third basemen, while Giménez (second base) and Naylor (first base) are 10th at their respective positions.

Ramírez, a four-time All-Star, is coming off a homestand that saw him hit .435 with four home runs and eight RBI, while Naylor leads the majors with seven doubles and 16 RBI and ranks second with a .488 batting average since May 30. Last year, Giménez became the first Cleveland All-Star to start at second base since Roberto Alomar in 2000.

Online voting is open until June 22 at MLB.com. As they have since 2019, fans will choose the top two players at each position (six outfielders) to advance to Phase 2, and then will vote for the starter in each league during a final round which begins June 26.
