AKRON, Ohio – The 65th Father’s Day car show is set at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.

The Ohio Region Classic Car Club of America’s Classic, Antique and Collector Car Show is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18.

The show sold out last year.

On display will be 400 classic, antique and collector cars manufactured as early as 1915 and including:

• The Inner Circle in front of the Manor House will feature luxury “Full Classics” - cars manufactured between 1935 and 1939, including Lincolns, Cords and Packards.

• Air-cooled autos, vehicles whose engines were cooled with air instead of coolant, from 1904 to the 1960s.

• Antique motorcycles from 1985 and earlier.

• A display of antique boats is new this year.

Food will be available from Winking Lizard, River Dog (pizza waffles), Molly’s Café, Holcomb’s Nuts and Kona-Ice (shaved ice).

Self-guided tours of the Manor House and gardens are included in car-show admission.

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18. The parade of cars will be 9 to 11 a.m.

Location: Stan Hywet, 714 North Portage Path, Akron. It’s about 32 miles from downtown Cleveland.

Tickets: Pre-sale only via stanhywet.org. Cost is $16 ($8, ages 3 to 17; free, ages 2 and under). Members receive discounts.

Youth judging: Ages 6 to 17 can learn with an experienced judge, meet auto owners and ask questions before the group selects a winner for the youth judges’ choice trophy at 3 p.m. Only 10 slots are available; each youth must buy a ticket to the show. Register online or go to the ORCCA on-site tent.

Music: MDU (My Drunk Uncle) is set to play 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the courtyard.

Parking: Parking is free via shuttle from Firestone Community Learning Center/Litchfield CLC, 470 Castle Blvd, and Todaro’s Party Center, 1820 Akron-Peninsula Road. (Onsite parking is available only for accessible-only vehicles with state-issued hangtag. Enter through the exit gate on N. Portage Path. First come, first served.)
